Comprehensive design approach for rapid response

Image Capture
The EX-S100 is a joy to own and a pleasure to use. The Best Shot Scene feature lets you select a scene resembling the image you want to record, and automatically configure camera settings. It includes a Business Shot option for shooting business cards or white board projector panels. The camera then corrects the image for any distortions. Additional powerful image capture features include Auto Pan Focus and 7-point Multi Auto Focus, as well as flash assist, Auto Macro and more.

Image Transfer
The EX-S100 lets you do more with your images after you record them. The bundled USB cable provides easy connection to a computer, just place the camera onto the cradle and press the SB button to automatically transfer images from camera memory to a computer. Or you can connect directly to a printer that supports PictBridge, without going through a computer. The EX-S100 is also compatible with PRINT Image Matching and Exif Print for high-fidelity print images.

Best Shot lets you select a sample image and instantly set up the camera so you can record a similar type of image. Macro mode, 7-point Multi Focus, Pan Focus, and other powerful functions are configured automatically when you select a sample scene. Best Shot makes perfect, professional-quality digital imaging as easy as select-and-shoot.

Unlimited Movie Length
These new EXILIM models let you continue to record a movie and audio as long as there is memory available to store it. A built-in speaker lets you check the audio as soon as you record it. Other audio features include audio snapshot (with audio recorded at the same time as the image or added later), and a Voice Recorder feature.

Macro Mode
The Macro Mode lets you move in to distances ranging from 50 cm to as close as 6 cm for really intimate close ups of everything from portraits to flowers, pets, food, and more. The Macro Mode also supports zooming up to 1.8X.

7-Point Auto-focus
7-point Multi AF means you never need to worry about focusing again. When you press the shutter button, the camera automatically selects one of seven focus points, based on which one is aligned with the nearest subject, and focuses on that point. This helps to avoid loss of foreground images, and minimizes the change of images being out of focus.
